UNIMAS University has opened its doors on 24^thDecember 1992 with only 30 staff working,118 students were involved in two faculties which was: faculty of social science and faculty of resource science and technology.

The main goal for UNIMAS to open was to build, and motivate the future guidance, leaders, managers, technical and scientist.
Today there is more than 16,000 students has enrolled in different faculties and 2000 staff are working to teach, build and secure our future through UNIMAS students.
